University of Tirana is now official partner of ETS Global in Albania
On 5th April 2011, University of Tirana and ETS Global signed the Memorandum of Understanding. In accordance with this agreement, both institutions agree to build a long-term partnership. On this basis, the University of Tirana will offer the TOEFL and TOEIC paper-based English Tests.
University of Tirana has the exclusivity of these two English tests throughout Albania.
Both institutions agree that their partnership will continue to involve also other internationally recognized tests, issued by ETS.
This successful cooperation has already created facilities as: reducing the costs of TOEFL and TOEIC tests, informing students, increasing students’ engagement and achievement etc.

The Law on High Education in Albania (Law No. 10/307, date 22.7.2010) defines the main aims of advancing quality and equity in Albanian high education. One of the goals is improving the quality of education and developing contemporary methods for language certification.
According to Article 26 every student should take the English exam based on internationally recognized tests, before finishing his/her graduate or post-graduate studies. In this context, UT-ETS will offer TOEFL ITP and TOEIC L&R tests.
